The Arts and Humanities Division engages students in the exploration and discovery of what it means to be human through scholarly examination of art, theatre arts, music, philosophy, religion, literature, language and communication. Our faculty guide students as they develop empathy and experience the interconnectedness of our world, and mentor students as they practice rational thought, skepticism, creative expression and diverse modes of communication.

Our vision is that our students become engaged artists, citizens and scholars, prepared for a future in which they understand who they are and how they can contribute to the world around them.
